Radon is a natural radioactive gas which is colorless, odorless, tasteless and inactive, occurring naturally as a decay product of radium, daughter of uranium. As a result of its existence in the soil, rocks and water, as well as in building materials emerging therefrom, radon exists at all buildings. High concentrations of radon may induce severe health risks.
The EEAE-recommended measurement provides accurate results on the radon concentration in internal areas through an easy and inexpensive procedure.
Concentration levels of radon may be reduced through simple techniques.
