The 6th RICOMET Conference on Social Sciences and Humanities in Ionising Radiation Research will be hosted by EEAE in Athens from the 1st to the 3rd of September 2020.
The 6th RICOMET Conference on Social Sciences and Humanities in Ionising Radiation Research will be hosted by EEAE in Athens from the 1st to the 3rd of September 2020. RICOMET will be organised either as a face to face meeting or in case this is not possible, virtual conference arrangements will be explored.
The main conference sessions are:
- Societal aspects of nuclear waste management
- Radon air pollution
- Environmental remediation
- Naturally occurring radioactive material
- Upgrading the strategic research agenda in social science and humanities (SSH) in ionising radiation
In addition, the following workshops and training courses will be conducted:
- Training course on risk communication & development of communication tools
- International Science Relations and Communications | From the Lab to the Parliament
- Workshop on Ethics in Radiation Protection
