The Greek Atomic Energy Commission organizes on May 20, 2013 in Athens a workshop entitled "Revision of the European regulatory framework in the fields of radiological and nuclear safety - The regulators' approach in the light of four successive Presidencies of the Council of the European Union".
The workshop is organized by EEAE in cooperation with the Department of Labour Inspection of the Republic of Cyprus Ministry of Labour and Social Insurance, in the framework of their bilateral scientific and technical cooperation agreement.

The mean annual dose of the monitored workers in Greece and the mean annual dose per speciality for the year 2013 are presented in the following histograms.
An Integrated Regulatory Review Service (IRRS) mission was conducted in Greece from 20 to 30 May 2012. During the 11-day mission an international team of senior nuclear safety and radiation protection experts reviewed the regulatory system for nuclear and radiation safety in Greece, including both the national legislative framework and the Greek Atomic Energy Commission (EEAE), as the competent regulatory authority.
The second extraordinary meeting on the Convention on Nuclear Safety took place in Vienna from 27 to 31 August 2012.
On behalf of Greece, EEAE prepared and submitted to IAEA the national report.

The 4th Review Meeting of the Joint Convention on the Safety of Spent Fuel Management and on the Safety of Radioactive Waste Management took place in Vienna from 14 to 23 May 2012. On behalf of Greece, EEAE prepared and submitted to IAEA the national report.
