- registration of an individual consignment of radioactive material with Type A packaging, or radioactive material of low specific activity, or radioactive material in the form of a superficially contaminated object
- authorisation for the regular transport of radioactive material
- licensing of the individual transport of high-activity sealed sources, radioactive or fissionable materials with severe consequences
